Collective Voice Shut Down: From One Creator to Another

Hi, I’m Melissa Hale, a self-taught influencer and affiliate marketing professional.

As many of my fellow creators and influencers learned in an email dated December 12, 2025 Collective Voice, the influencer marketing platform are discontinuing services globally, learn more here! This came as a shock to the entire industry. It left many scrambling to find alternative platforms and questioning the industries risk factors. All of this during our business time of the year.  

When I first entered the world of influencer and affiliate marketing, the industry was still in its early stages. There were very few resources available, and I had to learn everything through trial and error/ hands-on experience. I invested years of time and a significant amount of money, working with marketing firms that ultimately couldn’t provide meaningful guidance because they, too, were still trying to understand this emerging space.

What I needed back then was simple: access to someone who was already successful in influencer marketing, someone who could answer basic questions and provide real-world insight. Having that support would have saved me years of frustration and considerable expense.

Today, I’m proud to say that Hey Modern Mom has partnered with thousands of retailers and I have successfully found my way!

Because of this experience and the challenges I had to overcome, I’ve decided to offer personalized consulting services to influencers who find themselves where I once was; seeking clarity, strategy, and direction in affiliate partnerships and monetization.
